A bit hypocritical perhaps, but at least two Uncharted games and one Gears of War game could use some serious updating. Both Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (2007) and Gears of War (2006) are horribly outdated compared to modern standards. It would be cool to see these games redone with modern gameplay and graphics. Uncharted: Golden Abyss (2012) was released on the PS Vita. Seeing it remade for PS4 would be sweet as pie. Personally, I’d love to see the collections bundled together ala Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Gears of War: The Locust War Collection would be so cool to have.

It is unbelievably satisfying watching horses trudge through miles of deep snow en route to a mission, only to find the same player-made snow trail upon returning to the mission’s point of origin. Throw a corpse into the river, and the body will continue on until it gets stuck, or flows into a lake at the mouth of the river. And last, but not least: hats. Hats easily fly off in the heat of a shootout or during a bar fight, but any hat can be picked up and worn by Arthur. Collecting hats across the western frontier might be one of the most satisfying, unofficial mini-games within _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ . In fact, as of this writing, the topic of hats was actually trending for the game on Twitt
If you’ve made it this far and still have every intention of pre-ordering _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ , that is totally fair. This is merely an attempt to offer up some suggestions to – at the very least – temper expectations. One final thought for those debating whether or not to pre-order _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ : Maybe just wait to submit that pre-order until more details are released. It is easy to be excited about such a highly-anticipated title, but we are sure to hear more news surrounding the details of the game as its October release date approaches, ideally including pre-order bonuses. It is rare for games (and retailers) to not include some sort or pre-order bonus, especially those with online experiences. At the PlayStation Experience we learned that a new God of War game is in development, but that we might have to wait another year. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t get a teaser. God of War III’s teaser trailer went live June 2008, a full two years before the game hit store shelves. It’s been five years since we’ve gotten a proper God of War game, and many are itching to know what’s going to happen in Kratos’ next outing. Hopefully we’ll get a few hints in 2015.
This seems nearly impossible seeing as we’re almost at the 10-year anniversary of the game’s announcement, but I feel fairly positive Final Fantasy XV might at least launch in Japan by the time 2015 ends. The fact that we’re getting a gameplay demo in 2015, the large amount of gameplay trailers released in 2014, and the fact that the English voice-overs are already done is enough evidence to suggest we’ll be playing Final Fantasy XV sooner than later.
The stats of the Ohmwrecker are pretty bad. Essentially every other Tank-like item can already reset turret agro and dive. That said, it’s an expensive item and isn’t profitable to use anyway. All right so dig this. You’re a vampire cowboy. That’s a relatively simple, but brilliant idea, right? All of your gear resembles old-fashioned weaponry, but with a steampunk redesign. Plus there are vampire powers as well like draining enemies of blood for health. Like most vampire games the brooding gothic atmosphere may a bit too overbearing at times and it doesn’t nail every mechanic set forth, but it’s a really fun game regardless. I can’t believe no one else has made something like this since and it came out in 2005. High Moon Studios planned a sequel, but it was eventually canceled. Just like Arthur himself is meant to feel like a living character for players to embrace and play their role as, the Open World games DLC of Red Dead Redemption 2 feels ripe for exploration and unexpected sights to behold. While roaming across the landscape on horseback, I saw majestic mountain passes and calming rivers full of opportunities to hunt and fish, especially as wildlife like deer and rabbits strode by. Just before that, I had Arthur and his horse perched on the top of a hill, only to see that a storm was brewing out in the distance, watching as clouds and mist rolled over the mountains. Standing there for a few minutes, the result of the passing rains ended up being a brilliant rainbow out on the horizon, something that even caught the Rockstar reps with us during the demo by surprise.
