We’re finally coming back to those indie games. Gunman Clive is a classic 2D run and gun shooter. Shoot guys, collect power-ups, scroll from left to right, and so on. It’s basic, but what sets it apart is the art style. Better yet imagine if someone took the art style of A-ha’s Take on Me and made a game out of it. It looks like a sketch come to life. I bet if you play that song alongside Gunman Clive everything will match up. Maybe even the devil will appear and rip open time and space itself. Earlier, I mentioned how important Native Americans were to Western culture and how excited we are for the possibility of them sharing center stage. Another character that doesn’t get enough play in the Western genre happens to be the female outlaw. In the closing scene of the teaser trailer, it seems as though the left most rider happens to be a lady. Their clothing is brighter than the other and her body structure seems to lend itself to a more feminine figure. A lot of players feel as though there isn’t enough diversity when it comes to protagonists in video games. Having a leading lady that also happens to be a badass would be a great, here. but not necessarily a new addition to the Red Dead series. While Red Dead Redemption 2 is very much a “Rockstar game” that allows players to create as much horse-and carriage-fueled chaos as they like, one of the most notable additions to the game is the integration of new layers of interactivity between the player and other NPCs out in the world, including the ability to take a bit more of a pacifist approach to most encounters.
Even though Rockstar games are huge, they’ve never really showcased a large variety of animals. Some of this is due to most of their games taking place in heavily occupied cities, while other games, such as the first Red Dead Redemption , just didn’t feel as though there was a lot of variety. It seems that Rockstar has made it a major point to show fans how many different types of wildlife will be in their next big game. We not only see countless numbers of birds, we’re treated to buffalo, weasels, field mice, dogs, vultures, coyotes, deer, and much more. This game seems to be taking place closer to the American Midwest. During the time period in which this game will take place, it’s accurate that there would be so much wildlife in every inch of unoccupied land. Hopefully, we’ll be treated to a glimpse of the infamous Rockstar Bigf
How intense is Lee’s face? It alone will cause you to go into convulsions. But aside from that, the entire idea of the comic is hilarious. Fear the support! Fear them! They have wards aplenty and aren’t afraid to use them. Dare to mess with them and they will squash you like a bug! No offense Kha’
Anyone who has ever tried to get someone (especially a non-gamer) into League, knows this struggle. Their number one problem is that they don’t understand turrets. They will literally fall over and over again for months. This is a problem, and it frustrates them to no end. But their out of character cursing and yelling is worth it. How often are they calm, cool, and collected? How often have they told you to stop yelling because it’s just a game? For them to finally understand your pain could do wonders for your relations
Fans of the first Red Dead Redemption understand the importance of a good campfire. Not only was it treated as a save location, it was also the area in which you could fast travel and change outfits. Fans were treated to a beautiful shot of a campfire deep within the wilderness with a gorgeous backdrop of the night sky. It wouldn’t surprise us if the campfires served the exact same purpose they did in the first Red Dead Redemption . The only other element that would be a welcome addition to the campfire menu would be if it were the area in which you could level up and/or upgrade your skills. This would assume that Rockstar is leaning more into the RPG mechanics of an open-world experie
Westerado started off as a browser game before becoming a bigger thing on Steam and Xbox One as Westerado: Double Barreled . Remember my wish that Law of the West’s mechanics would be transferred into another game? This is it! It’s a basic plot revolving around avenging your family’s murder, but the culprit changes with every playthrough. You gain leads by talking to townsfolk and going on missions. At any time you can pull out your gun in the middle of a conversation. Sometimes this will help get more information while other times it will probably cause you to die especially if you are in town. It may have pixel art, but the game beneath it all is very ambitious, and it nails everything it sets out to
