“My Facebook page is where I like to publicly flaunt all of my weird little successes and failures at cosplay. I love talking to people about whatever they may be working on and exchanging methods and ideas. Come at me b
As much as the presence of The Flash, Green Arrow, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Speedy and Vibe probably should feel like the small screen Justice League Amell promised so long ago – and technically, is – it’s hard to avoid the feeling that The CW and the producers are planting more seeds than they’re reaping. Again, the sheer number of plots at work in the single episode is to blame, meaning the only chance at success is to give each their due time on the screen, and giving up any attempt to make any of them truly profo
After being named the Game of the Year at the 2015 Game Developers Conference, it looks like Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor may be getting a Game of the Year edition. While there’s not yet any official word on the edition, Warner Bros. did submit the game for a Game of the Year classification to the Australian Classification Bo
On paper, the plan is being executed to perfection. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) uses his new superpower to sense big things in his new girlfriend’s future, those big things get even bigger when a magical villain comes to town, establishing himself as too much for masked vigilantes, and chasing the now-fully-revealed Hawkgirl off into their own series . It’s a thing of shared universe beauty if it can be pulled off, and Crump is up to the task of playing an immortal villain. Unfortunately and, perhaps fittingly, it’s the velocity that becomes the prob
“The demon hunter was the project that I decided to do after I went to my first major convention and got a good look at what other people were producing. I mained a demon hunter all the way through Diablo 3 , had loved the character and the artwork associated with it. It seemed a natural choice for me at the time. I just kind of sat down one day, looked at my boyfriend, and said “This. This is what I want to do next.” So I did it. Rather poorly. It was pretty much glued together and the first time I wore it to Megacon, it hadn’t even been sealed, I just slapped paint on it. It evolved quite a bit between Megacon and Supercon. It now just sits on a mannequin in my room, it’s almost too fragile to wear out anymore. There’s a nostalgic part of me that wants to remake it knowing everything I know now
So, are we ever getting a Justice League TV series? No one can say for sure, but with the success of Arrow and The Flash and the universe they’ve spent years building (even if you don’t love every element), it’s not something to be written off as a pipe dream. We’ve seen things in recent times that have never before been attempted: spin-offs of spin-offs, massive TV universes and animated web series whose characters have made the leap into live-action. Barry Allen recently jumped into not just an alternate universe, but a completely different network , with the door left open for Supergirl to reverse the f
“Because of all simply click the up coming website reasons I listed in the above question, this one has been expensive, I’m not going to lie. It’s amazing how much more efficient you are after you’ve worked with a material for a bit. I would say I’ve easily spent twice as much money on this project and maybe quadruple the amount of time as anything I’ve done before. In the end, I think it’s really taken on a life of its own, and even if no one else can appreciate it, I will have learned so much from it that it will all be worth
Other networks aside, the Legends of Tomorrow route seems more likely if we’re ever going to see the Justice League on the small screen. Some major players will get their own shows, while others will appear as important supporting characters. Picture a Superman series that has him mentored by Martian Manhunter or frequently teaming up with Green Lantern, or possibly a Wonder Woman show with her travelling to Gotham for one season and helping a mopey billionaire to lighten up a little. Not everyone needs their own show, and some might even need as little as a featured episode. Given that we’ve already got duplicate characters in the TV and movie worlds (the Flash, for example), this shouldn’t be too much of a prob
Last month, word broke that Microsoft had canceled a reboot of Phantom Dust , which was being developed by Darkside Games. The reboot was meant to revive the cult classic from the original Xbox, and while Darkside Games is no longer working on it, Microsoft says it still plans to release the game at some point for Xbox One. Microsoft didn’t provide a reason for cancelling the project, or when they envision the game will rele
But again, it’s something that harkens back to the series’ PC roots. Whether or not games are ‘getting easier’ is not for me to say, but it’s undeniable that, once upon a time, PC games demanded a lot more trial-and-error on the part of the player. Setting my attackers to train in a forceful manner, my midfield in a passing-based manner, and my defenders to train in a manner that would have made a fisherman proud, I finally reached my first proper ma
