My Favorite Part of Red Dead Redemption 2 is Reading the Journal

Red Dead Redemption 2 online guide Dead Redemption 2 is a larger than life game with so many little details around the vast open world. The creators, Rockstar, are well known for their captivating and in-depth storylines in series like Grand Theft Auto , Bully, Max Payne , and L.A. Noire . As in many of their other titles, the developers have snuck several easter eggs into the vast world of Red Dead Redemption 2. These easter eggs have spawned many conspiracy theories around different parts of the game, including things that have to do with side characters and even Arthur Morgan himself. Everything from the supernatural to something as a blind man who can see the fut

One of the most popular pastimes of open world games is simply exploring the world itself and seeing what you come across. And Red Dead Redemption 2 is filled with secrets (and lots of gold bars.) Simply exploring the world rewards you with valuable treasures, and gold bars can be found in Limpany, south of Cotorra Springs, in the Braithewaite Manor, and in the mountains northeast of Bacchus Station. There’s seven gold bars among them for a grand total of $3,500. Not bad for simply wandering around doing noth

I kept imagining that this was the type of story that Houser wanted to tell, and while Hell or High Water might have its own set of problems, it never needed to reduce anything to caricature the same way that Red Dead Redemption 2 does. This is a game that tries to desperately to show its maturity, that it’s past the simple morals of fantastical and escapist gunslinger movies, and more along the lines of a “prestige” film like those of Sheridan or Dominik. Yet somehow, old Houser habits have a stubborn refusal to die, creating a product that is in odds with itself.

We hate to encourage gambling, but it really is a hassle-free way to earn some quick cash. Blackjack and poker are not only fun, but they’re also quite easy to learn. And while many locations don’t exactly pay out the big bucks, you can go to Saint Denis and buy into a poker game for $5. If you’re particularly adept at the game (and if you can best the AI,) then you can walk away with some decent money. Sure, it won’t be enough to retire on, but it’s an easy, fun, and relatively risk-free way to earn some quick cash. Provided you’re a good poker player, of cou

This incredibly good spin-off to my personal Game of the Year from 2015, Undertale , is just part one of a possible series, and I’m super excited. We’re finally into that part of the list where I stop half-criticizing games and instead showcase how bloody good some of them are. Deltarune was a fantastic revisit to the world of Undertale with vital mechanic changes, a unique story, and an all-new cast of characters mixed with reused ones.

While in Rhodes, you unlock the ability to sell stolen horses to a horse fence. Do not do this. It is not worth the effort. Why? Because a basic stolen horse will net you maybe $2. If you want to increase the price, you’ll have to significantly bond with the horse, and this may take a few in-game days. And your reward will be a price increase from $2 to $5. Yay. Yes, you can make more money with rarer horses, but that includes both finding and taming them, which could also take a while. In the end, horse selling is a mug’s game and it’s not worth the time or effort invol

When returning to his cabin you will see a giant mural on his cabin wall depicting different things like him stepping through a portal and the Empire State Building. This has led many to believe he is a time traveler and some even believe he is Lucifer himself! This accusation comes from his birthmark connecting him to the Epsilon Program in Grand Theft Aut

As someone who studied film in high school and college, I probably have seen a few more Western films than I had wanted to. While I was never fond of the genre and the stories and themes it presented, I found myself more fascinated with the resurgence of the genre rather than the oversaturated Spaghetti Western era of yore. I suspect that Dan Houser was as well because Red Dead Redemption 2 did not remind me of Spaghetti Westerns. In the place of dramatic stand-offs, wandering “men with no names,” and black-and-white morality, there was a grey sense of morality and more profound cynicism at the heart of Red Dead Redemption 2 .

Tetris Effect is a gem of an experience. With incredible, entrancing visuals that make you feel like you’re in either the next Star Wars combined with a mixture of audio that flies around your brain and sucks you into the dreamscape, Tetris Effect is a masterpiece. Each movement subtly synchronizes itself with the music playing in the background, with the BPM adapting to your placements and rotations. For something as simple as Tetris , this game really puts an Effect on you.

Now if you want to sell some stolen goods, wagons are a great investment. You can sell stolen wagons to the fence in Emerald Ranch, and lucky for you, the roads near the ranch are absolutely littered with wagons. All you need to do is camp out in the grass, wait for a wagon to spawn (which may only take a few minutes,) and then proceed to steal it and sell it. The whole ordeal is over in five minutes, and you net yourself a cool $40. Of course, this will lower your honor, but hey, no one said life in the Wild West was e
