Marvel’s Spider-Man is the best superhero video game of all time. Sorry to the Batman: Arkham games, I love you – but this game is just so good. I’m kinda sad that it got snubbed at this year’s The Game Awards ceremony, losing to the next two games on my list (spoiler alert)…and also got snubbed at our own Awards ceremony . Boy, oh boy, this game got pushed under the rug.
I’ll be honest – I didn’t finish the game because I lost motivation to do so. Either way, a game has its faults but can also be quite fun. I did have a bit of a blast in co-op free roam and running around this unique open world. As is with Far Cry games, I loved the times where wild animals would appear out of nowhere and help me attack NPCs. I adored Boomer and all of the other companions, but that’s about it.
At this point, Red Dead Redemption 2 camp Upgrades Dead Redemption 2 feels like a video game attempting to tell a story with modern sensibilities about trying to keep the past alive. There is a fear from the characters that their way of life will be eradicated, and similarly, some creative forces behind this game could very well be afraid that their opportunity to tell a story in this genre is under danger. Like Dutch himself, Red Dead Redemption 2 is afraid of being forgotten and irrelevant and fights to justify the existence of its story and characters.

Throughout Red Dead Redemption 2 , protagonist Arthur Morgan will occasionally voice his displeasure at all the death and destruction that surrounds him and the gang he runs with. As with all good video game protagonists though, missions continue to have you murder hundreds of others and the optional ability to engage in therapy sessions with other women at the gang’s camp. In these conversations Arthur can admit that he feels bad for all the killing he is doing and doesn’t know why he is doing it; that he sometimes feels as if he is not in control of his actions.
“Oh no,” you say: we’re entering Sony territory – and with a bang, as one of the most gorgeous games of this year is Detroit: Become Human . Detroit was a huge step forward from the previous titles from Quantic Dream and David Cage, and a game where choices actually changed the story. From the days of Telltale Games and Life is Strange emerges a game where the choices you make surprisingly matter, and the game lets you view what could’ve happened instead. I loved when I checked the choice map at the end of a scene and realized everything that mattered. Except for saving that goldfish at the start – that made no difference whatsoever.
In the open world of Red Dead Redemption 2 , you are given the ability to choose an honorable path or dishonorable one: essentially you can try to be good or bad. Choosing to be honorable means saving women from kidnappings, helping the law bring in bounties, saving civilians from other gangs, and helping strangers in danger who appear along the roadside. Being dishonorable means killing the law and helping criminals, killing strangers, stealing from civilians, and mostly killing in general.

Either way, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (or IIII if you want to be difficult) takes players on a good journey into the lands of playing online. In short, we don’t care if you want to play a story – fight these kids instead. At least they actually made it fun unlike Fallout 76 .
While it may be fun and immersive to play the campaign in first person mode, it is a great way to die online. The field-of-vision is far too limited to be practical. By zooming out, you can be sure you’re seeing as much of your surroundings as possible, while simultaneously limiting the possibility of an enemy getting the jump on
Much like the popular Hunger Games series, players in “Gun Rush” will often find the best weapons are placed in the middle of the map . Some players, especially those new to BR games, may want to take their time and allow other players to kill each other off. However, if you truly want an advantage, sticking to the outskirts will leave you lacking in decent weapons for the final battle. Instead, rushing to the center right away can give you a one-up on the competition early
While horses are an excellent way to get around in RDR2 , they are far less useful when it comes to BR modes. While it may give you an advantage in the speed department, it is not worth the attention you will draw.
