The average Red Dead player probably does not realize that giving the local Saint Denis Times a peek is a worthwhile task as the game’s newspapers show how the outside world looks upon the Van der Linde Gang’s doi
Completely free and a well-rounded sniper rifle? Count me in! This rifle is not to be messed with. Not only is its accuracy 3.4/4, but it has the damage to match. It has an almost equal level range as well, which almost makes up for the slow reload and rate of fire. Your enemies had better quake in their boots if they see you rolling up the block with this rifle because you are about to kick some cowboy behind. I haven’t come across another weapon this powerful yet and it blows my mind (I’m sure your enemies will feel the same soon enou
I don’t usually compile lists in my head of ten games because only a select few titles really keep my enthusiasm by the end of the year. However, when thinking about my backlog and the games that did come out this year, it reignited a spark in me that felt these games needed recognizing. Here are my Top 10 games for 2018:
We hate to encourage gambling, but it really is a hassle-free way to earn some quick cash. Blackjack and poker are not only fun, but they’re also quite easy to learn. And while many locations don’t exactly pay out the big bucks, you can go to Saint Denis and buy into a poker game for $5. If you’re particularly adept at the game (and if you can best the AI,) then you can walk away with some decent money. Sure, it won’t be enough to retire on, but it’s an easy, fun, and relatively risk-free way to earn some quick cash. Provided you’re a good poker player, of cou
A Way Out was such a good game, and a refreshing take on the co-op genre. I absolutely adore co-operative games, especially those in which me and a single friend can complete a campaign. This game from Hazelight Studios was an absolute blast of a time, with minigames in-between story elements such as Connect Four or Baseball being such a nice way to take a break from the story and just have fun. Me and my co-operative partner beat the game in a single sitting with how much we adored it.
It’s also extremely difficult. As someone who had never played video games would say, it’s the Dark Souls of puzzle games. I should probably change the difficulty, to be honest. Either way, I’m having a blast with this game; I wouldn’t even call it a game – but an auditory and visual experience. Go play it.
During the Epilogue, John is forced to take up his guns and mount his horse in order to go after a small gang of bandits who are threatening the farm he works for. Abigail disapproves, terrified that she might be about to lose John. John, however, must use his less than savory skills to defend their livelihood and ends up cornering the last bandit in the barn. While the man screams all sorts of threats at John, the player is treated to an in-game recreation of the cover of the first game, with John glaring down the barrel of a
These bones clearly depict a humanoid creature, but it is far larger than your average human. We are led to believe that we have discovered the skeletal remains of Big Foot. This find is purely just around for the curious wanderer who happens to walk
So long as you shoot every single miserable bird in your path, you’re going to end up with an incredible amount of feathers in your satchel. While feathers may not fetch much of a price on their own, a surplus of them will net you a nice payday, especially if you sincerely do take your time to shoot every bird you
Dead Eye was the incredibly popular game mechanic introduced as far back as Red Dead Redemption 2 online guide Dead Revolver that made everyone feel like a true gunslinger. Once activated, time would slow down and the player could pick off several enemies in one sequence, or even disarm people. This gained even wider traction in RDR , and now it’s back. Now, you can activate it any time while slowly pulling the trig
One of the most popular pastimes of open world games is simply exploring the world itself and seeing what you come across. And Red Dead Redemption 2 is filled with secrets (and lots of gold bars.) Simply exploring the world rewards you with valuable treasures, and gold bars can be found in Limpany, south of Cotorra Springs, in the Braithewaite Manor, and in the mountains northeast of Bacchus Station. There’s seven gold bars among them for a grand total of $3,500. Not bad for simply wandering around doing noth
However, Red Dead Redemption 2 is about so much more than its story. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I feel like the story of the game is overshadowed by how much detail was put into making it. There are so many nuances to the game, Easter eggs to find, activities you can engage in, and mind-boggling features to discover that the narrative’s excellence takes second place to the game’s craftsmanship as a whole. Don’t believe me? Well, if you don’t have the time or inclination (as of yet) to play Red Dead Redemption 2, you should take a gander at this list here. But seriously, consider checking out the game on your own if you haven’t already since it is really fantastic. Read on if you want to become astounded by the hidden details of Red Dead Redemption 2 that you may not have noti
